Scummy Map Overlay (Windows)

Frameless, transparent in-game overlay. Press Ctrl+M to summon the map on top of SCUM, Ctrl+Shift+M to flip click-through so the mouse passes to the game underneath. Sign-in shares with the website.

• Optional auto-pin: tail your SCUM log for player coords and pin them on the map.

Install instructions (Windows)

1. Download the installer above. Save it anywhere.
2. Double-click to run. Windows SmartScreen will probably warn you with “Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting” — this is expected because we haven't paid for a code-signing certificate yet. Click More info → Run anyway.
3. Walk through the installer. The app installs to %LocalAppData%\scummy_map overlay\ by default.
4. Launch scummy_map overlay. The window starts hidden — press Ctrl+M to summon it.
5. Sign in with Discord (same flow as the website). The overlay then knows who you are and can post markers, see squad presence, etc.

Hotkeys (defaults — all rebindable)

Show / hide overlay	`Ctrl+M`

Quit / settings	Right-click tray icon

Change any of these in Settings (tray icon → Settings… → click a hotkey field, press the new combo).

What's new in v0.1.3

Fixes overlay sign-in for real this time.

- Tauri capability now allows IPC from the scummymap.com origin (v0.1.2 still rejected listen() because the capability defaulted to local-only).
- Carries forward the new SM brand icon.

Discord bot

Slash commands like /sm add to drop markers from inside Discord, plus squad-shared markers, raid planning, and rendered map snapshots. Nothing to download — your server admin installs it via an OAuth invite link.

Ask Scummy Map staff for the invite URL — bot installs are vetted while we're in private beta.
