Map basics

Coordinate system

SCUM uses centimetre units. +X is west, +Y is north. In-game, press F1 then type show position to display your current coords. The full copy-coords format is:

Paste that string into the search bar — the map jumps to the location.

Admin teleport

Server admins can teleport using the F2 admin panel or by typing in admin chat:

#Teleport X Y Z

Coordinates shown on scummy_map POI pages are in the correct format to paste directly.

Sector grid

The Island is divided into a 5x5 grid. Rows run north to south: D, C, B, A, Z. Columns run west to east: 4, 3, 2, 1, 0. Each sector is further divided into a 3x3 keypad subgrid (K1–K9, phone layout). A full sector code looks like A2K5.
